About

Living in Bordeaux, France, after a decade spent between Scotland and Germany, I draw on these experiences to reflect on themes of identity and belonging.

My practice centers on oil painting and illustration, shaped by diverse influences such as medieval religious paintings and illuminations, esoteric and biblical imagery, tenebrism, and Japanese Ukiyo-e prints. Poetry and music also play a central role in my creative process, helping me develop ideas before they find visual form.

Through my exploration of melancholy, imagination, and the inner life of thoughts, I seek to create pieces that resonate with those drawn to introspection and intrigued by the strange.
